Wrest Point has three main stages. The Showroom is a tiered room seating 331 theatre-style with a purpose-built stage. The Entertainment Centre is the name the event pages use for the bigger concerts; the hotel does not publish a capacity under that name (its conference pages list the Tasman Room at 1,000 theatre-style, and 1,650 when opened onto the Plenary Hall). The Plenary Hall is a tiered auditorium with a 9.2 × 5 m screen, used for the film festivals.

Free music most weekends
The hotel's bar pages list free gigs on Friday and Saturday nights: in the Birdcage Bar usually two sets (around 8–11pm and 11.30pm–2.30am), in the Casino Bar live acts, and DJs in the Green Room from about 9.30pm. These bars have age restrictions; see the bars page.
Show night and a room
A show finishing at 10pm and a 20-minute taxi to the airport the next day is the classic reason to stay on site. If you send a request for a show night, tell us which show: the desk will ask for rooms that night and remind you that the ticket is a separate purchase from the hotel's ticketing partner.
